Acornpark Innovation Circle™

Under the registered trademark Acornpark®, Leaderspoint Associates GmbH & Co. Kommanditgesellschaft organises its publishing activities both in-house and as a quasi-imprint through selected publishing houses. The Acornpark® brand emphasises that guest publications by authors outside the team or beyond the immediate business interests of Leaderspoint Associates GmbH & Co. Kommanditgesellschaft are also supported in our spirit of promoting and sharing knowledge.

The Acornpark Innovation Circle™ is the informal group of all authors who have contributed to our research and publications.

Our publishing lines are "Blickwinkel" (magazines), "Edition Acornpark" (specialist books) and “DTMS, Denk- und Thesenpapiere | Memorandums & Scripts” (short essays from students of IU Internationale Hochschule, Campus Dortmund, a university of applied science). We are happy to share our knowledge with everyone interested in the topics covered by the Acornpark Innovation Circle.

Why "Acornpark"?

The name “Acornpark” has a dual significance for us. On the one hand, it is intended to evoke memories of Acorn Park in Boston, which for many years was home to the headquarters and legendary research laboratories of the former Arthur D. Little, Inc. – hence a renowned hub of creativity, knowledge-building and innovation. Our founders, including Thorsten Knobbe, who served for some time as a Senior Adviser at Arthur D. Little, wish to continue fostering this spirit.

On the other hand, Dortmund – where our headquarters lie – a landmark alluding to Acorn Park, namely Fredenbaumpark, a park dotted with oak trees. Located at the head of the inland port with its many new projects, Fredenbaumpark marks the northern end of forward-looking, vibrant Dortmund. Dortmund has long since ceased to be the centre of the coal and steel industry, but is now an innovation-driven hub for high technology, microsystems engineering and logistics – a leader across Europe and, in some cases, even globally. We draw inspiration from this entrepreneurial spirit of innovation as we guide our clients on their path to a successful future.
